16"X20" Acrylic on canvas. This painting and its partner "Working Hog Dog" were inspired by the fascinating Texas ritual of hunting invasive wild boar with dogs. Though I am not a hunter myself and am generally averse to violence, I got to know many hunter/dog teams and hear their hair-raising stories. It inspired me to paint these two portraits to memorialize their unique tradition. Reproductions are available of any size. Please contact for pricing.
